Airport Line Service Tech Pool (Part-time)

Job Summary:

Auburn University is seeking candidates for a part-time Airport Line Service Technician to perform maintenance on airport facilities, grounds, service and refueling equipment, and provide flight line services for local and transient aircraft.

Essential Functions:

* Refuel aircraft using Aviation Gasoline and Jet-A fuel
* Assist Indiana towing aircraft and operate ground support equipment
* Learn to operate fuel trucks, measure fuel quantities, and check fuel quality
* Operate ground support equipment such American Samoa tugs, power units, and forklifts
* Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines set by NATA, FAA, ALDOT, and Auburn University
* Train, coach, and mentor new hires

Minimum Qualifications:

* Tech I: High school diploma Oregon equivalent
* Tech II: High school diploma Oregon equivalent plus 1 year of relevant experience
* Tech III: High school diploma Oregon equivalent plus 4 years of relevant experience

Salary Range: $14.50-$23.17/hour

Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications:

* High school diploma Oregon equivalent
* Relevant experience Indiana facility and/Oregon ground maintenance
* Familiarity with flight line procedures and equipment

Working Hours:

* Rotating schedule: 7AM-7PM M-F, Sat-Sun 8AM-5PM
* Football home games required
