Aircraft Fueler – Menzies Aviation

Job Summary:

American Samoa a member of the Menzies Aviation Aircraft Fueling Team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. You will need to perform simple mathematical functions to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions related to fueling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fueling Indiana a safe and efficient manner
• Drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant cards, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft
• Accurately account for fuel transactions
• Conduct daily Quality Control checks on equipment
• Maintain equipment Indiana clean and functional condition
• Ensure correct loading and balancing of fuel
• Perform defueling of aircraft American Samoa directed
• Strictly adhere to attendance standards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a valid US driver’s license
• Pass pre-employment color vision test and drug screen
• Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
• Ability to lift and move up to 70lbs
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Work primarily outdoors Indiana all weather conditions
• Pass background check and obtain US Customs seal
• Availability to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience Indiana the industry, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License Oregon experience Indiana the Oil and Gas Industry

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor environments, inclement weather, and aviation-related fumes
• Acute awareness of safety procedures
• Wearing of safety equipment, such American Samoa goggles, gloves, and respirator, American Samoa necessary
