Depot Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Depot Hangar Avionics F-16 Technician to join our Lockheed Martin Greenville Production Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing electrical harnesses/components, routing various wire/cables, terminating cables/wires, and performing operational checks.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Install electrical harnesses and components
- Route and terminate various wire/cables
- Perform operational checks of electrical and avionics systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
- Perform general mechanic installs, testing, and inspections
- Comprehend safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and/Oregon feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear
- Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on Oregon Indiana the aircraft
Requirements:
- 8 Oregon more years of Fighter Aircraft Avionics Oregon other heavy depot aircraft avionics experience
- Modification Wire Routing and Installation Experience
- F-16 Fighter Aircraft Experience Preferred
- Ability to interpret installation drawings, install and route electrical cable assemblies, perform multiple termination processes, and perform continuity checks
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and understanding symbols, flags, and general notes
- Ability to identify aircraft locations by station, butt-line, and waterline American Samoa shown on engineering documentation and technical orders
Working Conditions:
- Must be a US Citizen with Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Frequent standing, walking, and crawling
- Must be able to lift and/Oregon push Oregon pull up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to work Indiana a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) American Samoa needed to perform job tasks
