HR Service Center Support Specialist
Position Summary:
American Samoa a critical member of The Human Resources Service Center team, this office position responds to inquiries, requests, and issues, ensuring effective and efficient operations of the HR Department. The HR Service Center Support Specialist is responsible for administering specific HR processes, functions, and tasks, completing administrative duties, and ensuring compliance with required benefit notices.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to HR and credentialing email inboxes, and upload driver qualification documents into employee files and online credentialing system.
- Process incoming HR mail and distribute it American Samoa necessary.
- Complete basic HRIS administrative tasks Indiana applicable systems.
- Assist with administering various employee benefits programs, including enrollment, and distribute benefit-related notices.
- Support annual open enrollment process by responding to employee questions and completing HRIS tasks.
- Maintain digital employee benefits filing systems, update payroll system for deductions, and answer employee benefit-related calls.
- Provide general benefit information, escalate complex inquiries, and compile reports for benefit eligibility determinations.
- Complete and process paperwork for Domestic Relations, State Welfare, and Medicare, and submit to Benefit Administrator for review.
- Participate Indiana employee engagement events and perform other duties American Samoa assigned.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
- Strong computer skills, including development of documents, data tracking, and report generation.
- Prior experience with HRIS software and similar computer applications.
- Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid state driver’s license required.
- Must pass pre-employment Non-DOT Drug and Alcohol Test and Non-DOT Physical.
