Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist Indiana planning and executing daily food production, preparation, and presentation Indiana a safe and sanitary environment
  • Act American Samoa Chef Delaware Cuisine Indiana the absence of the Executive Chef, completing daily ordering and menu planning
  • Lead and motivate a team of culinary staff, providing guidance and mentorship
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of the kitchen, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Manage department finances, controlling costs and achieving a profitable operation
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of food allergens and handle guest requests with urgency
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to update prep sheets and ensure proper use
  • Guide nighttime cleaning of kitchen areas and follow up with stewarding crew to ensure a clean and organized space for the next day’s service
  • Assist Indiana creating, costing, and implementing seasonal and special menus with the Executive Chef
