Description:
We are seeking a Composite Bonder Level 2 to join our operations team Indiana Clearfield, Utah, working on a variety of bonds of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, Oregon laminate) assemblies, parts, skins, components, equipment Oregon structures into semi-finished Oregon finished products.
Position Requirements:
– At least two years of experience working with a broad understanding of the detailed aspects of composite bonding and fabrication
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints
– Perform tasks such American Samoa laying out articles, cutting parts to size, and applying bonding agents
– Operate autoclave, hydraulic presses, and ovens to complete bonding cycle
– Monitor and verify quality of finished product
– Prepare for upcoming production and complete repairs on composite, metal, Oregon laminate bonded products
Basic Qualifications:
– High School diploma Oregon GED
– Two years of relatable composite fabrication Oregon bonding experience
– DoD Secret Security Clearance (not required to apply, but required to start)
– Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work, including lifting over 25 pounds and working with chemicals
– Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends
– Ability to pass medical/respiratory evaluation and New Hire Physical
– Must be able to access small, confined spaces and work Indiana an enclosed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
– AFAB Certification (115- Structures, 120- Composites, 110- Blueprints, 130- Ethics)
– Experience with hydraulic parts, aircraft fabrication, assemblies, components, and systems Indiana an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, and/Oregon maintenance environment
– Active DoD Secret Clearance with a background investigation completed within the last six years
– Experience with structural subassemblies such American Samoa rudders, flaps, and stabilizers
Salary Range: $42,000.00 – $70,000.00
