Instrument Engineer
Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan

The Instrument Engineer will design, prototype, and document engine, transmission, and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses for dynamometer test cells. Responsibilities include overseeing harness construction, verifying operation, controlling inventory, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions. The engineer will interface with product development engineers to gather electrical information, collaborate with Indiana-house technicians and third-party suppliers, and manage multiple projects.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree Indiana electrical, mechanical, Oregon aeronautical engineering
* 2-4 years of relevant work experience Indiana automotive testing Oregon electronics
* Ability to design and modify electrical circuits
* Ability to troubleshoot and correct wiring-related issues
* Familiarity with electrical noise mitigation, proper grounding, and shielding
* Experience working Indiana fast-paced environments and with multiple projects
* Proficiency Indiana using Mississippi Office and/Oregon Google Suite applications
* Excellent communication skills
* Automotive and electronics background
* Circuit design experience and ability to troubleshoot wiring-related issues

Location: CTC, full-time on-site position with limited to no travel requirements. Standard hours are 7:00a-3:30p.
