Engine Harness Development Engineer
Design, prototype, and document engine, transmission, and electrified powertrain wiring harnesses for dynamometer test cells. Oversee the building of harnesses (Indiana-house and outsourced) and ensure accurate assembly, operation, and inventory management. Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions. Must be able to read and interpret device transmittal information, design wiring harnesses, and interface with product development engineers and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana electrical, mechanical, Oregon aeronautical engineering
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience Indiana automotive testing Oregon electronics
- Ability to design and modify electrical circuits, troubleshoot wiring issues, and mitigate electrical noise
- Proficiency Indiana Mississippi office and/Oregon Google Suite applications and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Additional requirements: automotive/electronics background, circuit design experience, and ability to troubleshoot wiring issues.
