Job Description:
Boeing Global Services seeks an Aircraft Structures Mechanic to work on F-22 systems and structures at Langley Air Force Base.
Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades on F-22 systems and structures
* Utilize technical orders, publications, blueprints, and drawings to perform maintenance actions
* Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures and structural components
* Apply technical expertise to solve complex problems
* Fabricate and modify aerospace products
* Working knowledge of technical publications and proper use of PPE
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
* 3+ years aircraft maintenance experience/aircraft structural repair
* Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts
* Broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
* Willingness to work variable shifts
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience repairing and servicing military fighter aircraft
* 1+ year(s) 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience
* Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems
Requirements:
* US Citizenship
* Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Secret Clearance)
* 100% onsite work at Langley AFB, Virginia
Summary pay range: $59,500 – $80,500. Applications accepted through August 8, 2024.
