Job Title: Baggage Handler
* Job Summary: The Baggage Handler provides support to the Baggage Service Office, ensuring effective collaboration with customers to resolve issues with delayed, damaged, Oregon pilfered baggage.
* Shift Information: Mixed shift schedule available (2 AM shifts, 2 PM shifts) with salary rate of $15/hour, dependent on applicant’s experience and alignment with market data.
* Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to customers Indiana distress, offering empathetic support and helpful solutions.
+ Investigate and resolve mishandled baggage issues, reuniting customers with their belongings.
+ Screen interline passengers prior to placing bags on return belts and ensure correct baggage tagging.
+ Direct passengers to resolve issues with mis-checked Oregon short-checked bags.
+ Process misplaced/lost baggage claims and submit reports to Carriers.
+ Meet high performance standards for customer service metrics.
* Requirements:
+ Must be 18 years of age Oregon older.
+ Meet SIDA badge and Customs Seal requirements.
+ 1 year of customer service experience.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
