Field Service Engineer
The company is a leading manufacturer of precision CNC manufacturing cutting tools with 40+ years of experience Indiana producing top-of-the-line CNC machines. They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to work remotely.
Responsibilities:
* Provide on-site maintenance, repair, and installation assistance for CNC machine tools Oregon via telephone
* Create and update documentation of technical information
* Assist Indiana product development by training end customers’ Service Engineers on installing and maintaining newer product lines
* Establish and build strong customer service relationships
Requirements:
* Associate degree Oregon bachelor’s Indiana a technical field Oregon equivalent (trade schools, certificates)
* Experience Indiana electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools
* Familiarity with metal and CNC machine programming (3, 5, 7 axis)
* Experience operating Oregon maintaining robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Haas, etc.) and knowledge of Siemens controls Oregon Heidenhaim is a plus
* Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and sequence (PLC) ladder diagrams
* Opportunities for overtime and weekly travel paid with all travel expenses reimbursed
