Aircraft Technician II Indiana Appleton, Wisconsin
Job Description:
American Samoa a key member of our team, you will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs of moderate to advanced complexity on aircraft systems and structures under minimal supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Communicate with management to receive and understand work assignments
- Perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications
- Identify and label customer property and store aircraft components securely
- Operate ground support equipment safely and follow standard procedures
- Coordinate and assist with aircraft movement Indiana hangar and ramp areas
- Provide training to less experienced technicians
- Protect customer property
Additional Functions:
- Implement Lean initiatives to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Properly dispose of hazardous materials and waste
- Maintain company-provided tools and equipment
- Adhere to safety rules and procedures
- Use the material tracking system to create parts demand and track sign-offs
Requirements:
- High school diploma Oregon GED required
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2-4 years of aviation maintenance experience
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, and company policies and procedures
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
