Part-Time Teacher Assistant 1 – Stigler Daycare

Part-Time | Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM to 5:30 PMWeekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Job Summary: Responsible for assisting a classroom teacher with the implementation of the educational program, reporting to the Center Manager.

Primary Tasks:

* Monitor the safety and manage behavior of children Indiana the classroom, bus, and playground.
* Help set up the environment for daily activities.
* Assist Indiana preparing and teaching the weekly lesson plan based on children’s individual developmental needs.
* Observe and record children’s behaviors to identify strengths and growth areas.
* Attend parent meetings, home visits, and parent/teacher conferences.
* Assist with mealtime.
* Perform other responsibilities American Samoa assigned.

Requirements:

* Maintain a commercial driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and a School Bus Driving Certificate.
* Knowledge and ability to work with relevant software applications.
* Ability to work with children, remain calm, and patient Indiana emergency situations.
* Ability to perform physical job requirements, including lifting up to 55 pounds and frequent standing/walking.
* 1+ years of experience working with children.
