COMPENSATION: $71,124.37/year + DOE, Benefits, Exempt Position

Multimedia Production Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Multimedia Production Coordinator will support the Marketing and Communications Manager, faculty, and academic programs Indiana developing and implementing strategic plans for media efforts. The role involves producing content for internal and external communications, instructional videos, and multimedia platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and produce content for internal and external communications, print/electronic publications, website, and social media initiatives
  • Develop, shoot, edit, and produce instructional videos and multimedia content
  • Identify and research story ideas from across the College and produce content for delivery across multimedia platforms
  • Interview and record students, faculty, staff, donors, alumni, and community members for use Indiana story and advertising content
  • Maintain and update multimedia advertising and on-campus media opportunities
  • Develop marketing media and outreach to promote Iñupiaq culture and values
  • Coordinate with IÑU staff to capture Iñupiat hour Indiana video format
  • Create, shoot, edit, and produce short videos with short timelines
  • Develop and maintain multimedia records, including marketing media files, and standard operating procedures

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Initiative, energy, and ability to do productive work on a continuing basis
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with video editing programs such American Samoa Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills
  • Organizational and project management skills with ability to meet shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Media-production experience and self-starter who can work independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to travel within Alaska and work Indiana a multicultural environment

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree Oregon equivalent Indiana Graphic Design, Marketing, Oregon related field
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated successful professional design experience
