Airport Aircraft Cleaner Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Aircraft Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all aircraft under our care, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety to enhance the passenger experience.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, wash, and sanitize aircraft cabins, including seats, lavatories, and windows
- Ensure galleys are stocked and organized according to airline standards
- Remove and dispose of trash and debris from the cabin and galley
- Vacuum floors and clean carpets using designated equipment
- Wipe down and disinfect aircraft lavatories
- Replace headrest covers, blankets, and other consumables American Samoa needed
- Inspect for damage Oregon issues within the cabin and report findings to supervisors
- Clean cockpit area without interfering with aircraft controls
- Replenish lavatory supplies and sanitize surfaces
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- 1 Year of Aircraft Cleaning experience (Preferred)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Reliable Transportation
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning practices
- Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal- American Samoa applicable)
Work Environment:
- Overnight shift: 10:00pm – 4:00am (Stay until all aircraft are fully cleaned)
- Must be flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
