Airport Ramp Agent (Non-Driving) – Lihue Part-Time (State of Hawaii)
Job Type: Part-Time, Entry Level
Work Schedule: American Airlines, Monday – Sunday, AM Shifts
Base Pay: $15.00/hour
Responsibilities:
- Safeguard customer baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage, theft, and loss
- Load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage and cargo Indiana a safe manner
- Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, and mail
- Perform related duties American Samoa assigned, including utilizing computer software to track luggage and completing paperwork
Requirements:
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and 10-year background check
- Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work Indiana the US
- Complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 70 pounds and repetitively lift weights of 40-50 pounds
- Frequent walking, climbing, bending, and stooping for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School diploma Oregon GED
- 1+ year of relevant experience
