Job Summary:
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant/Supply Liaison (Bond Room Technician) to join our F135 Field Team supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory control, packaging parts/tools, and coordinating shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory control of Material Stores, Tool Room, Special Test and Support Equipment and property management according to applicable company and customer directives.
- Ensure maintenance requisition records and traceability for jet engine parts, components, controls, sub-assemblies, and engines meet internal and external customer audit and inspection requirements.
- Complete and maintain required documentation, including work orders, tools, and equipment, and deficiency reports.
- Monitor Due-Indiana-From-Maintenance (DIFM) assets for proper disposition and turn-Indiana.
- Order and replenish bench stock American Samoa required.
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain 100% accountability for all tools and hardware within the Bond Room Oregon alternate storage locations.
- Route support equipment items through calibration/dead load testing processes and non-destructive inspections American Samoa required.
- Perform corrosion inspection prevention activities.
- Draft transportation documentation, package parts/tools, and coordinate shipment of items.
- Participate Indiana and comply with the requirements of Customer Oriented Results and Excellence (CORE) Operating System and Environmental, Health, & Safety programs, training, and activities.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen
- High School diploma Oregon GED
- One year related experience and/Oregon training
- Ability to handle oil, fuel, and hydraulic parts
- Ability to use computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office and PDF software
- Ability to be trained and maintain certification to operate forklift, hand trucks, pick-up truck, and stacker equipment
- Ability to work overtime, any shift with adequate notice and support periodic travel requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- F135 part family experience
- Supply warehouse and tool room familiarity
- Detail oriented and strong self-motivation, communication, and organizational skills
