Airport Engineer – United Airlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for aircraft systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions
• Analyze and seek solutions to design, operation, maintenance, performance, Oregon repair of aircraft and their components
• Evaluate the benefits of cost impact of fleet decisions to ensure a balance of cost, asset utilization, quality, and reliability
• Develop complex solutions and implementation plans, including cost/benefit analysis and management of project implementation
• Interface and communicate with internal departments and customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations
• Coordinate work with other operational groups to ensure airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree Indiana Engineering Oregon related technical field Oregon equivalent experience
• Entry level to 5 years of engineering experience
• Ability to analyze complex and technical Engineering and OEM documents
• Effective communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work Indiana the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Maintenance engine design Oregon engine overhaul Indiana the field of engineering
• Knowledge of Code of Regulations (CFRs), airworthiness design and substantiation criteria, aircraft and equipment design and operational characteristics
• Knowledge of FARS (especially 145, 25 and 121)
• Strong skills Indiana Mississippi office applications (Excel, word, powerpoint, etc.)
