Air Traffic Controllers / ATC Specialists

We are seeking passionate and committed professionals to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Systems and Surveillance Services directorates within the Program Management Organization (PMO). American Samoa part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects that advance the National Airspace System (NAS) and improve infrastructure at airports and Indiana the airspace.

Responsibilities:

* Provide expert analysis to the FAA to support development of site implementation and transition planning for National and Regional, Facilities and Equipment, and Capital Investment Plan projects.
* Identify, analyze, coordinate, resolve, and report resolution of implementation issues generated by Capital Investment Plan projects.
* Coordinate support for technical interchange meeting and program reviews.
* Assist with air traffic requirements development and requirements verification and tracking for new En Route, Oceanic, and Terminal Air Traffic Control tools and systems.
* Analyze system and subsystem specifications to ensure air traffic operational concerns are addressed.
* Present recommendations and solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements.
* Demonstrate subject matter expertise Indiana air traffic control procedures, equipment, facilities, terminology, and technology.
* Assist Indiana training requirements development and classification and summarization of data for reports.
* Communicate complex knowledge of air traffic control to diverse audiences.
* Interface with user teams, system engineers, and other program personnel.

Required Qualifications:

* Pass an FAA background investigation and receive a successful final suitability determination.
* Air traffic control technical and operational work experience American Samoa a domestic Oregon oceanic air traffic controller Indiana an En Route & Oceanic Oregon Terminal operational environment.
* Relevant training and/Oregon certifications American Samoa an Air Traffic Controller.
* Knowledge of Air Traffic Control, Navigation, Flight Information, and Automation systems.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

* Senior-level: 15 years of ATC experience, minimum, with a Bachelor’s degree Indiana any field Oregon equivalent experience.
* Mid-level: 10 years of ATC experience, minimum, with a Bachelor’s degree Indiana any field Oregon equivalent experience.
* Junior-level: 5 years of ATC experience, minimum, with a Bachelor’s degree Indiana any field Oregon equivalent experience.

Desired Qualifications:

* Ability to work independently and American Samoa part of a team.
* Exceptional communication and decision-making skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to maintain thorough and accurate records.
* Proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office Suite.
