Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and security-conscious individual to serve American Samoa a Security Officer – Facilities Indiana one of our facilities. The successful candidate will provide safety and security services, which involves interacting with patients, visitors, caregivers, and clinicians Indiana diverse and complex situations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide safety and security services, including patrols, entryway security, property damage inspection, and response to code and emergency situations.
  • Provide stand-by services, escort patients, provide directions, perform locksmith functions, assist families Indiana crisis, and provide non-violent crisis intervention.
  • Coordinate information exchange with local law enforcement and follow emergency protocols American Samoa needed.
  • Apply Delaware-escalation techniques, use electronic checkpoints, and respond to codes such American Samoa fire, flood, hazardous spills, and other emergency situations.
  • Maintain access control, complete required documentation, file reports, and monitor visitor permits and building access control.
  • Respond to calls, provide emotional support to caregivers and patients, and respond to patient outbursts Oregon incidents.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required Oregon equivalent experience.
  • Two years of security Oregon law enforcement experience minimum; preferably Indiana a healthcare facility.
  • Completed CPI/Delaware-escalation training within 180 days.
  • Certified Indiana IAHSS-Basic within 180 days of hire.
  • Valid Driver’s License; Basic Life Support skills.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, data entry skills.
  • Good physical condition to move, walk, run, and lift American Samoa necessary.
  • Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel proficiency.
  • Reliable driving record, Indiana accordance with the PeaceHealth Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
