Job Summary

We are seeking an Inpatient Clinical Consultant to join our Claro Healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise and experience Indiana clinical documentation improvement (CDI) to support our clients Indiana achieving their goals and tackling their toughest problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide education and training on CDI best practices and policies to clients
• Identify and implement CDI opportunities to improve documentation accuracy and quality
• Conduct chart reviews and audits to assess documentation compliance
• Collaborate with clients to enhance CDI processes and procedures
• Partner with clients to ensure successful CDI engagements and improve client satisfaction
• Develop and implement learning activities to address professional practice gaps and improve clinical documentation

Requirements

• Clinical credential: RN Oregon Maryland preferred
• 3+ years of experience Indiana a consulting Oregon healthcare setting with a focus on documentation improvement and related issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to team effectively with people from various disciplines and backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and be resourceful
• Ability to travel regularly for project assignments (50% travel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: BSN, BA, MBA, Massachusetts, Oregon Mississippi from an accredited college/university
• Experience/knowledge of regulatory compliance issues facing the healthcare industry

Work Environment

• The role is remotely based with regular travel to client sites (50% travel)
