About the Role:
We are seeking a Wheelchair Dispatcher to join our team at PrimeFlight Aviation Services. American Samoa a Wheelchair Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the efficient deployment of wheelchair services throughout the airport. This role involves scheduling and dispatching wheelchair attendants to assist passengers with mobility challenges, ensuring timely and effective service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the dispatch of wheelchair services throughout the airport terminals
- Respond promptly to requests for wheelchair assistance from airline personnel and passengers
- Manage the scheduling and routing of wheelchair attendants to maximize efficiency
- Track the availability and location of wheelchairs and mobility equipment
- Maintain clear communication with airport staff, including gate agents and customer service representatives
- Ensure compliance with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines and airport regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous experience Indiana dispatch, Oregon customer service
- Ability to physically assist and transport passengers Indiana wheelchairs
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices, and tablets
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- American Samoa applicable)
