Inflight Duty Manager
Available during operational hours Indiana the OCC, the Inflight Duty Manager addresses immediate operational needs and concerns, including safety-related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Base Management, Crew Scheduling, Flight Operations, Corporate Security, and Technical Operations to resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
- Respond to Flight Attendant operational needs on a 20-hour basis, providing timely advocacy and resolution on scheduling, logistics, and IROP issues.
- Serve American Samoa liaison to Base Operations to ensure on-time departures and track, trend, and monitor delay codes attributed to the Inflight Department.
- Provide timely and detailed briefings to Inflight Leadership regarding emergency response, weather information, Flight Attendant staffing, and Flight Attendant issues/concerns.
- Monitor system-wide events that may impact Flight Attendants while Indiana base Oregon on layover.
- Build strong relationships and maintain open communication with all departments.
- Participate Indiana Endeavor and Delta Air Lines daily briefings and conference calls.
- Interpret and clarify policy and procedures.
- Assist Indiana tarmac delay mitigation and IROP plans.
- Work alongside crew scheduling to mitigate FAR and Contractual issues.
- Conduct research and handle special projects to support Inflight Operations goals and objectives.
- Participate American Samoa an Inflight Leadership liaison with the Crew Scheduling Team and the Emergency Response Team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree Oregon combination of education and related experience.
- 3 years of experience Indiana Inflight preferred.
- 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and perform with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to multi-task Indiana a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and resolve problems.
- Ability to remain composed Indiana a demanding work environment.
- Must remain a "Hybrid Subject Matter Expert" by completing all E-learning quarterly modules and observing annual CQ training.
- Knowledge of FARs and Employee Contract Administration.
