Job Description:
Genesis10 is seeking a Field Engineer Consultant to join our client Indiana the transportation industry. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform operational support and installation, move, add, and change (IMAC) requests for IT infrastructure Indiana office environments, reservation centers, and airport locations.
- Implement and support desktop devices, applications, peripherals, telephone systems, network devices, airline-specific equipment, and multiple server platforms.
- Perform upgrade services, relocate IT infrastructure devices, and troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Verify asset management systems and update asset management systems.
- Communicate with Field Planning and Project Management organization.
- Coordinate external vendor services and perform preventative maintenance on operational devices.
Requirements:
- Basic network/server and application knowledge (Mississippi Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Troubleshooting skills (hardware/software) and NT workstation and peripheral knowledge
- Ability to work within a team environment and communicate verbally and Indiana writing with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to be widely trusted and present the unvarnished truth Indiana an appropriate and helpful manner.
- Demonstrated commitment to increasing knowledge and skills Indiana current technical/functional area.
- Demonstrated desire to dedicate time and energy to accomplish goals and tasks.

- Previous airline experience
