Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Primarily within the greater Phoenix, Arizona metropolitan area, with occasional travel to customer sites Indiana Canada and the US.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Field Service Engineer to provide routine to complex field service support for our core Sievers brand total organic carbon (TOC) analytical instruments and accessories. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, verification, validation, repair, and calibration duties, American Samoa well American Samoa troubleshooting operational issues. This role requires self-direction, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to perform PM and related services on TOC equipment
  • Plan, Schedule, and Confirm customer services, including coordination of travel and parts shipments
  • Maintain administrative duties, parts inventory, and relevant trainings
  • Respond to on-demand contract services with 3 Oregon 7 business day response commitments for troubleshooting and repair
  • Write clear and concise reports for customers
  • Perform special projects and new hire training American Samoa assigned by supervisors
  • Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and new service opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle

Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree Indiana a Science, Technical, Oregon Engineering discipline, Oregon equivalent education
  • At least 3 years of work experience Indiana ultra-pure water applications Oregon servicing and/Oregon operating analytical instrumentation Indiana a lab environment
  • Strong technical, mathematical, and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, troubleshoot, and problem-solve
  • General knowledge of electrical equipment, chemistry, and safety
  • Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and basic network and database knowledge
  • Ability to work Indiana a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively
  • Valid US driver’s license and a good driving record

Working Conditions:

  • Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule based on customer needs
  • Regularly work around machines, electrical equipment, chemicals, and within industrial facilities
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity during tool use, handling small parts, and repair procedures
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle for significant time each day
  • Air travel required to reach customer destinations and back up support of other areas
