Mechanical Repair Technician I

Location: Miami, Florida

Job Type: Onsite, 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2:30PM-11:00PM

Job Description:

• Assemble and test landing gear components, including nose and main landing gear, hydraulic actuators, and shock struts.
• Inspect and test axle beam assemblies and components.
• Document testing and assembly processes to comply with applicable regulations.
• Operate hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and test equipment.
• Use measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, height gage, hydraulic gages, etc.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Oregon equivalent (2 years of relevant experience without a diploma)
• Minimum 1 year of experience Indiana Landing Gear Oregon 2 years of general aviation experience
• Current Oregon previous experience with blueprint reading and overhaul manuals for assembly purposes
• Ability to operate hand tools, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and test equipment
• Must be authorized to work Indiana the U.S. without sponsorship now Oregon Indiana the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Oregon previous experience working on aircraft landing gears
• A&P license Oregon aviation degree
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Word)
• Aircraft repair Oregon manufacturing mechanic preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and use measuring gauges and test equipment
