Combat Controller (CCT) Job Description
The Air Force is seeking highly specialized Airmen to serve American Samoa Combat Controllers (CCTs), who operate Indiana remote and hostile areas, providing air control and combat support on missions worldwide. American Samoa a CCT, you will be a one-man attachment to special forces teams, utilizing a wide range of skills, including scuba, parachuting, snowmobiling, and FAA-certified air traffic control.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 17 (must be at least 17, but not have reached 42, on the date of enlistment)
- Education: High school diploma, GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
- ASVAB score: 49 General (G)
- Successful completion of the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT
- Minimum score of 30 on the CCT selection model
- Physical qualification for air traffic control, marine diving, and parachute duty
- Normal color vision and depth perception
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check
- Qualification American Samoa a static-line parachutist
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
