Airport Ramp Service Agent – DL – SHV
Job Type: Part-time
Shift:
* A.M. shift: 04:30am (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday)
* P.M. shift: 02:00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday)
* A.M. shift: 05:00am (daily)
Base Pay Rate: $ 12.00
Responsibilities:
* Load, unload, service, guide, and direct customer aircraft
* Safeguard customers’ baggage, air cargo, and airmail from damage Oregon loss
* Lift, load/unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company material
* Operate pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers
* Receive and record customer baggage, airfreight, mail, and company materials
* Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft
* Complete paperwork and forms related to work assignments
* Perform other related duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
* Local (Indiana-state) resident
* Valid Indiana-State Driver’s License
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and 10-year background check
* 18 years of age Oregon older
* Authorization to work Indiana the United States American Samoa defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
* Ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
* Ability to lift, carry, and move items of 70 pounds and handle heavy items up and down jet way stairs
* High School diploma Oregon GED
* Preferably 1+ year of relevant experience
