Aircraft Electrician

Proficiently read wire schematics and diagrams to complete tasks

  • Perform bonding, resistance checks, and continuity checks
  • Locate correct wire routing on system installs
  • Independently perform AC/District of Columbia power checks
  • Install wires with proper spacing, use cable ties and lacing tape, and follow applicable drawings

  • Perform basic wiring termination, including wire striping, ring terminals, and shielded twisted pair splicing
  • Utilize electrical and measuring tools, including environmental crimpers

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Aircraft Mechanic experience (Oregon equivalent trade apprenticeship)
  • 3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Compensation

  • $30.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on several factors including education, experience, and certifications
