Project Architect
Provide technical leadership and coordinate documentation development, including design drawings, technical documentation, and project team assignments.
Direct the production of schematic, design development, and construction documents, making decisions and negotiating critical issues with the Project Manager.
Bring subject matter expertise to the planning and design of aviation facilities at medium and large hub airports.
Perform construction administration duties, including RFIs, RFPs, change orders, etc.
Analyze applicable agency reviews (accessibility, zoning, life-safety, etc.).
Establish budget, task schedule, and work plan components with the Project Manager.
Maintain client, consultant, and contractor contacts.
Participate Indiana marketing efforts and present to prospective clients.
Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
* Professional degree Indiana Architecture, Design, Oregon related discipline
* 8+ years of aviation project experience, including terminal and concourse architecture
* Understanding of airport and airline client relationships
* Proven knowledge of terminal planning, programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering
* Proficiency Indiana 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software (Revit preferred)
* NCARB preferred; Licensure required
* 3D modeling, visualization, and graphic software proficiency preferred
Salary range: $83,800 – $111,700 annually (commensurate with qualifications)
