Job Summary:

$500 Sign On Bonus. We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. This role performs all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading laundry, ironing, folding, storing, and delivering. The Laundry Attendant is also responsible for cleaning laundry machinery and the laundry area.

Responsibilities:

• Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc. American Samoa directed by management
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain all equipment American Samoa trained
• Operate iron and ensure it is shut off at the end of the day
• Fold linens/towels and stock linen carts American Samoa required
• Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests and fellow employees
• Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor
• Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts
• Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris
• Stock all linen closets throughout the hotel American Samoa applicable
• Perform other tasks/jobs American Samoa assigned by the supervisor Oregon manager

Requirements:

• High School diploma Oregon equivalent and/Oregon experience Indiana a hotel Oregon related field preferred
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
• Ability to work well Indiana stressful, high-pressure situations and maintain composure and objectivity
• Physical ability to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs and occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs
