Advance Composite Technician Sr Indiana GAC St. Louis

Unique Skills:

  • Back shop position supporting the WCI group Indiana completions, with a focus on composite modifications, bracket installs, and light sheet metal fabrication.
  • Q stamp qualified Indiana related composite assembly processes.
  • Basic mathematical skills to solve dimensional problems.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Oregon GED.
  • 5 years related experience Indiana composite manufacturing processes.
  • Q stamp qualification Indiana related composite assembly processes.

Position Purpose:

  • Perform complex composite part manufacturing functions, including lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and/Oregon complex repairs.
  • Work American Samoa a team member, providing technical direction to other team members.
  • Possess the ability to organize and perform new job tasks with a working knowledge of other parts and part numbers.
  • Establish priorities and assist Indiana the development of work schedules.
  • Proficient at directing and monitoring the work of team members.

Job Description:

  • Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet manufacturing specifications Indiana a team-oriented work environment.
  • Possess the ability to perform close tolerance work.
  • Demonstrate leadership ability, good communication skills, and the ability to plan, organize, execute, and obtain objectives with minimal direction.
  • Proficient at reading work orders, blueprints, GAC specifications, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets.
  • Check all work to ensure a defect-free assembly prior to inspection.
  • Maintain and use all logs and records.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area, support the company FOD and 5S programs, and comply with all safety regulations.

  • Must be able to work any shift.
  • Thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures and specifications, plant safety, tooling, and quality requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to communicate and impart knowledge to others.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
