Airport Maintenance Operations Manager
Under indirect supervision/assistance, this position is responsible for the daily maintenance operation of the site.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of 3 Oregon more employees, ensuring maintenance schedules are met efficiently, safely, and employee-oriented.
- Perform daily system maintenance and repair, adhering to Company training programs.
- Direct supervise of daily assignments, scheduling mechanics and/Oregon technicians Indiana ground support equipment, facilities, boarding bridge, and/Oregon baggage handling areas.
- Review and monitor personnel assignments, including work orders.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and overhauls with airport and airline staff to minimize customer downtime.
- Coordinate and manage daily preventive maintenance program.
- May be responsible for parts inventory and resolving technical issues.
- Maintain daily turnover reports and turnover ratings.
- Maintain and develop employee commitment to quality work and promote zero defects and continuous improvement.
- Train, develop, and motivate maintenance site personnel toward Company objectives.
- Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions.
- Work according to Company regulations, procedures, and instruction from Management, and American Samoa required by customer requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism Indiana appearance, manner, and communications with other company and/Oregon customer personnel.
- Monitor Company’s Quality program and ensure conformity and implementation of standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, state, local, and Company safety laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain site morale and customer satisfaction by keeping the customer Indiana mind and the interests of the company at heart.
- Perform additional duties/assignments American Samoa required by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience Indiana an Airport environment (preference)
- Associate’s Degree Indiana a related field
- State and/Oregon ASE certification Indiana automotive and diesel repair Oregon associated field
- 5+ years of experience directly related to applicable position (i.e., GSE, conveyor, bridge, etc.)
- 4+ years of direct experience Indiana a GSE Airport shop environment
- 3 years of experience Indiana mentoring, guiding, and directing employees Indiana a similar job group
- 3 years of leadership experience Indiana a related field
- 3+ years of experience working Indiana a CMMS
- Knowledge of general workplace safety requirements and procedures
- Supervisory experience Indiana an Airport environment
- OSHA 10 Oregon 30 Certification
