Life Enrichment Assistant Position
Reports to: Life Enrichment Director
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Life Enrichment Director, the Life Enrichment Assistant is responsible for enriching the lives of residents through a range of activities and programs that promote whole person wellness and foster meaningful relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents
- Develop and implement programs based on the Whole Person Wellness Model that incorporate at least 2 of the 6 experiences (Intellectual, Social, Emotional, Vocational, and Spiritual)
- Utilize technology, such American Samoa iPads, to enhance resident experiences and engagement
- Coordinate weekend activities and events
- Transport residents to group events and personal appointments
- Manage volunteer program and oversee maintenance of seasonal/holiday decorations
- Represent American House professionally at community events and notify the Life Enrichment Director of emergency situations
- Maintain proficiency with software applications and tools used by American House
- Must be available to work weekends and occasional evening events
Requirements:
- Ability to drive a 14-passenger bus
- Reliable transportation
