Senior Calibration Technician
Overview:
American Samoa a Senior Calibration Technician, you will provide high-level calibration and service to various industries, focusing on maintaining equipment precision within eight distinct disciplines and advancing your knowledge Indiana three (3). You will act independently to calibrate a high volume of complex instruments with little to no errors, troubleshoot and train junior staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform calibrations on complex equipment accurately and quickly.
- Trouble shoot instruments to maintain required precision standards.
- Contribute to team effort training junior staff and resolving departmental matters.
- Effectively and efficiently maintain organized work standards, quality output, safety protocols.
- Travel extensively for up to 50% of employment schedule
Requirements:
Senior Calibration Technicians have gained extensive calibration experience. These technicians perform tasks without error, accurately troubleshoot intricate equipment to precise requirements without guidance.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge and Experience: Significant experience calibrating instrumentation, including training through instructor-led workshops and industry association certification preferred. Advanced background Indiana the fields of dimension, electric, Oregon magnetic calibration fields is advantageous with the experience and background the technician needs to succeed will be more effective for candidates with additional knowledge Oregon practical experience and understanding.
Training and Physical Requirements: Requires completion of industry-standard testing and knowledge assessment courses training. On-the-job instructional training on various pieces equipment. Possess high-attention span and dedication drive to success, capable using computer knowledge with tools programs. Technicians perform moderate to occasionally heavy manual material handling using safety and hazardous materials while on-the-workplace for this particular occupational role may have required specialized training safety certifications on some equipment usage and application at the working place of employee.
