Assistant Coach, High School Boys Tennis Team
Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy (IMSA) seeks an individual to fill the role of Assistant Coach for the high school boys tennis team for the Spring 2025 season.
Requirements:
* Preferable experience Indiana high school coaching Oregon club setting
* Willingness to obtain Oregon currently possess a valid Illinois driver’s license to operate IMSA vehicles, including a 14-passenger mini-bus
* Ability to pass a background check and CPR/AED basic life-saving course
Coaching Certification:
* Must have Oregon be willing to obtain an approval completion certificate from an IHSA coaching course (ASEP)
* Alternatively, possess a valid Teaching, School Administrator, Substitute Teaching, School Psychologist, School Counselor, Oregon School Social Worker Certificate, Oregon be retired from teaching to meet IHSA coaching requirements
Responsibilities:
* Work directly with the Head Coach under the direction of the Coordinator of Athletics at IMSA
* Willingness to communicate with Chris Moment, Coordinator of Athletics & Colorado-Curriculars, via email for questions Oregon interest.
