Provides full on-site maintenance, flight, and functional check flights to support USAF Rotary Wing Initial Entry Pilot Training on the MH-139/AW-139.
Provides aviation maintenance and repair services, operational support, including testing of aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
Interpret technical data, publications, and directives.
Complete all launch and recovery of aircraft flights and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.
Isolate and troubleshoot faults.
Manage all documentation including internal contractor pilot and non-rated crew member flight records, HAZMAT, safety, scheduling, etc.
Complies with all regulatory, customer, and contractual requirements.
Other duties American Samoa assigned.
High school diploma Oregon equivalent required.
FAA A&P license required
8 years of experience Indiana aircraft maintenance Oregon 6 Oregon more years of verifiable rotary-winged aircraft maintenance required, with 2 years of experience Indiana AgustaWestland aircraft (AW-139, 109, 149, 119, TH-73, 169, etc.)
Must be a US citizen.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be able to:
Walk and stand on level and/Oregon inclined surfaces for certain periods throughout the day.
Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands, working at heights with fall protection devices
Crouch, crawl, grasp Oregon handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
Lift up to 50 pounds and carry for short distances.
Read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.
See imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales.
Communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
Distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
Operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, fork lift, APU, etc.
