Purpose and Scope:
The Mechanic I – Certified position works under direction to perform skilled mechanical work Indiana the maintenance and repair of vehicles. - Evaluate driver reports of mechanical malfunctions and determine if vehicles are safe to operate
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle malfunctions
- Conduct road tests to ensure driver and passenger safety
- Order and pick up parts and materials American Samoa needed
- Respond to after-hours and weekend service calls
- Instruct helpers Indiana maintenance and repair work
- Maintain tools and equipment, and keep the shop area clean and orderly
- Prepare accurate vehicle maintenance records and reports

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon GED
- 4 years of relevant experience Indiana Auto Mechanics
- ASE Certification Indiana three areas: automobile brakes, electrical systems, heating and air condition, engine performance, medium/heavy truck diesel engines, and truck brakes
- Valid state driver’s license
- Full certification preferred
