Job Summary:
American Samoa a Maintenance Technician B, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Oregon Maintenance Manager. You will work on various vehicle components and systems, including chassis, refuse bodies, engines, and drivetrain systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain working knowledge of vehicle components and systems, performing preventative and repair maintenance functions
- Repair and maintain chassis components, refuse bodies, and control systems
- Perform engine repair and maintenance, suspension, drivetrain, and steering system repairs
- Identify and diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools
- Safely provide road service to ensure company vehicles are returned to operation quickly and efficiently
- Complete applicable company training programs
- Perform other job-related duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards
- Prior experience with maintenance work on heavy-duty trucks Oregon equivalent experience
- ASE Certifications (T1-T8) and Commercial Driver’s License are a plus, but not required
- Valid Driver’s License
