Banquet Manager

Assist Indiana the development of all banquet department schedules, forecasts, and budgets. Administer departmental guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Oversee banquet food service functions, including labor management, equipment inventory control, and preparation of banquet check. Manage supervisory activities such American Samoa set-up, delivery of service, quality of food presented, and tear-down operations.

Review daily payroll reports and ensure labor costs conform to established guidelines. Maintain banquet server gratuity information and prepare transmittals for payroll.

Assist Indiana interviewing and selecting departmental employees, and train, appraise, coach, counsel, and discipline employees according to Loews Hotels standards. Evaluate individual employee performance and establish goals, objectives, and training needs.

Establish par levels for banquet equipment and supply inventories, ensure security and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and attend departmental meetings. Verify banquet cover counts, prepare and present banquet checks for guest payment, and respond to guest complaints.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Key qualifications: Thorough knowledge of banquet operations, 3-5 years of experience Indiana upscale hotel Oregon convention center banquet operations, certifications Indiana food management and safety, leadership and communication skills. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
