Combat Controller (CCT) Candidate
Job Description:
The Combat Controller (CCT) is a specialized Airman who operates Indiana remote, often hostile areas, serving American Samoa a one-man attachment to other special forces teams. CCTs are trained Indiana scuba, parachuting, snowmobiling, and FAA-certified air traffic control to establish air control and provide combat support worldwide.
Requirements:
- High school senior (age 17+), high school diploma, GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
- Must meet ASVAB Score Requirements: 49 General (G)
- Pass the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT and score 30 on the CCT selection model
- Meet physical qualification standards for air traffic controller duty, marine diving duty, and parachute duty
- Maintain normal color vision and depth perception
- Complete a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check
- Qualify American Samoa a static-line parachutist
- Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Minimum age requirement: 17, maximum age: before turning 42 on the date of enlistment
