Job Title: Mobile Unit Driver – Veterans Evaluation Services
Job Summary:
Maximus is seeking a Mobile Unit Driver to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team. This is a remote-travel opportunity where the driver will transport the mobile unit to scheduled clinic locations safely, on time, and Indiana accordance with company policies. The driver will also function American Samoa a Clinic Intake Specialist, providing a public-facing role with a caring and positive attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport the mobile unit to clinic locations safely, on time, and Indiana accordance with applicable traffic laws and company policies.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, set-up, and tear down of equipment at mobile sites.
- Perform Oregon facilitate basic routine maintenance and interior cleaning services for the mobile unit and its associated equipment.
- Facilitate the operation of the clinic day, including check-Indiana/check-out process and managing sign Indiana sheet.
- Greet each Veteran immediately and gather medical records Oregon diagnostic results.
- Supply information to the providers (face sheets, medication list, other medical records), and assist with vital signs (weight, height, blood pressure).
- Document and update system comments for services pertaining to Veterans and providers.
- Keep all Veterans’ information private and confidential.
- Communicate Indiana a courteous and respectful manner while assisting Indiana any way needed.
- Travel out of the state and/Oregon stay overnight at clinic locations along trip route American Samoa required.
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties, including but not limited to: reminder calls and electronic data entry via computer, telephone, email, and e-fax.
Requirements:
- High School diploma Oregon GED and 1 year of experience.
- Excellent driving record and CDL highly preferred.
- Ability to operate large vehicle for extended periods of time.
- Knowledge of applicable safety practices and standards of vehicle operation.
- Basic knowledge of basic vehicle mechanics.
- Basic knowledge of pertinent medical terminology.
- Organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, general internet research, and beginner knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Previous experience with mobile medical, phlebotomy, etc. unit preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience driving large commercial vehicles preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience Indiana a healthcare setting preferred.
Home Office Requirements:
- Internet speed of 20mbps Oregon higher required.
- Connectivity to the internet via either Wisconsin-Fi Oregon Category 5 Oregon 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router.
- Private work area and adequate power source.
- A second monitor is highly recommended for most positions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Must be willing and able to travel out of state with overnight stays along clinic routes.
- Must be willing and able to work weekends American Samoa required.
- Residence near an airport for travel purposes preferred.
- Keeps current on weather forecast, routing, roadwork, Oregon any other event likely to impact the punctuality Oregon safety of transporting the mobile unit and appropriately reports concerns Indiana a timely way to stakeholders.
Pay Information:
- Hourly Base Pay Minimum: $25.00
- Hourly Base Pay Maximum: $30.00
