Airport Maintenance Technician B – Republic Services
Job Summary:
Performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, and control systems. Maintains and repairs intricate and powerful machinery, and troubleshoots malfunctions using electronic tools. Ensures equipment is returned to operation Indiana a safe and efficient manner.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Maintains working knowledge of vehicle components and systems, including chassis components, refuse bodies, engines, and steering systems
- Performs preventative and repair maintenance functions, both on-site and on the road
- Identifies source of malfunctions using electronic tools
- Completes applicable company training programs

Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards
- Prior experience with maintenance work on heavy trucks Oregon automotive systems, Oregon graduation from an accredited automotive college Oregon technical school within the next 3 months
- Valid Driver’s License
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) Oregon Commercial Driver’s License are a plus but not required
