Job Title: Combat Controller
Job Summary:
Act American Samoa a one-man attachment to special forces teams, operating Indiana remote and hostile areas worldwide. Conduct a range of skills, including air traffic control, scuba, parachuting, and snowmobiling, to establish air control and provide combat support.
Requirements:
- Minimum age: 17, maximum age: 42
- High school diploma Oregon GED, Oregon 15 college semester hours
- High School Students may apply American Samoa early American Samoa their junior year
- ASVAB score requirements:
- 49 General (G) Qualifications
- 30 on the Special Warfare Operator Enlistment IFT
- 30 on the Combat Controller selection model completed Indiana the Tailored Adaptive Personality Assessment System
- Physical qualifications:
- Must pass the physical qualification for air traffic controller duty, marine diving duty, and parachute duty
- Must maintain normal color vision and depth perception
- Background checks:
- Must complete a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit Check
- Must qualify American Samoa a static-line parachutist
- Military training: Must complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
