Staff Software Engineer
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Headquarters Indiana NYC (with a 3 days Indiana-office expectation)
Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Staff Software Engineer to build the next generation of products at CLEAR, a leader Indiana digital and biometric identification. You will participate Indiana designing, implementing, testing, and deploying applications to enhance our platform, which interconnects dozens of attributes and qualifications while keeping member privacy and security at the core.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance our capabilities across various industries and domains, focusing on privacy, security, data modeling, and architecture
- Develop and deliver code across the full stack, driving engineering excellence through best practices Indiana testing, documentation, and observability
- Partner with product and other stakeholders to uncover requirements, innovate, and solve complex problems
- Have a strong sense of ownership, responsible for architectural decision-making and striving for continuous improvement Indiana technology and processes at CLEAR
Requirements:
- 9+ years of software development experience Indiana Java
- Experience with cloud-based application development, including cloud services providers like AWS, containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and collaboration, integration, and deployment tools like GitHub, Argo, and Jenkins
- Ability to articulate technical concepts to a mixed audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to be autonomous to figure out what’s important
- Curiosity about technology and willingness to learn and adapt
