Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Maintenance Technician B performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies, and control systems. The role requires a strong understanding of vehicle systems and components, with the ability to perform preventative and repair maintenance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a working knowledge of vehicle components and systems, including chassis, refuse bodies, and engine repair and maintenance
- Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication, and provide road service to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions using electronic tools
- Complete Company training programs and perform other job-related duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience Indiana a technician position Oregon accredited automotive college Oregon technical school graduation within 3 months
- Basic understanding of work order labor time standards
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications (T1-T8) and Commercial Driver’s License are a plus but not required
- Valid Driver’s License
