Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Communications Specialist to join our team Indiana Lexington, Kentucky. American Samoa a key player Indiana our air ambulance operations, you will be responsible for receiving and coordinating medical transport requests, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, coordinate, and relay requests for air medical transport
- Maintain accurate documentation of Communications Center activities
- Track aircraft and initiate emergency action plans Indiana the event of incidents Oregon accidents
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and other air medical transport providers
- Provide price quotes for non-emergent air medical transports and coordinate patient transfers
- Manage the transfer center to ensure timely patient transfers
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent
- Prior experience Indiana fire, police, Oregon EMS dispatch and medical terminology (preferred)
- Intermediate knowledge and proficiency with computer operating systems
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work Indiana a fast-paced environment
- EMT License required
- Must pass pre-placement drug screening and background screen
Training Requirements:
- Successful completion of the Communication Specialist Academy
- PHI New Hire Orientation Classes
- PHI Destination Zero training
- King County Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification Program
- Annual recurrent training courses (HIPAA and Code of Conduct)
