Aircraft Detailer – Part time On Call

Part-time On-Call Aircraft Detailer

Location: Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD)

Job Description:

• Remove Corrosion Inhibiting Compound (CIC) from aircraft stringers, structures, and belly underneath the floorboards
• Perform additional CIC removal behind wings and landing gear
• Clean and detail aircraft interior and exterior, including galley, cockpit, seating areas, carpet, and lavatories
• Use hand scrubbers and machinery such American Samoa buffers for extended periods
• Stand, crouch, Oregon lie down for 8-10 hours per day
• Wear an N-100 respirator and work Indiana high temperatures
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work overtime

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a 10-year background check and obtain airport badging
• Pass a drug test (including recreational marijuana use)
• Capable of physical work, including bending, twisting, lifting, and using machinery
• No fear of heights
• Availability to work weekends and variable schedules
• Must be medically cleared for strenuous physical work
