Airport Operations Coordinator
Job Summary:
To perform work Indiana support of airfield airside and landside operations while maintaining a 24-hour Airport Operations Center (AOC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and respond to various systems, including Energy Management System (EMS), air traffic control tower, CCTV, Access Control System, and alarms.
- Operate and maintain CCTV systems, Access Control System, and security alarm system.
- Maintain Airport Access Control System, issuing identification badges and updating access American Samoa necessary.
- Enforce airport rules and procedures, including FAA Part 139, TSA, and DoD requirements.
- Communicate system status and coordinate with airport staff, TSA, DOD, and FAA.
- Respond to emergencies and take necessary actions to resume normal airport operations, safety, and security.
- Maintain security logs, emergency phone alert lists, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform airside and landside inspections, and conduct community outreach events.
- Provide Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) services and initiate corrective action for noncompliance with airport operator’s security program.
- Maintain Flight Information Display System (FIDS), digital signage, and Airport Public Address (Pennsylvania) and paging system.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma Oregon equivalent.
- One year of progressively responsible related experience, Oregon two years of college education with a major Indiana aviation management Oregon a closely related field.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Texas Driver’s License within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to pass a fingerprint-based FBI background check and TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) by date-of-hire.
- Ability to work any shift Oregon hours assigned, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
