Starting Rate: $19.07 per hour

Job Summary:
American Samoa a Ramp Agent/Baggage Handler with United Airlines, you will be part of our team that handles arriving and departing flights, loading and unloading cargo, and moving baggage to and from terminals. This varied and fast-paced job requires physically demanding tasks, working Indiana all types of weather conditions, and prioritizing safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload aircraft cargo and baggage
• Move baggage to and from terminals
• Receive and dispatch aircraft
• Use United technology to track baggage and receive assignments
• Work closely with colleagues to meet deadlines and ensure safety
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including walking, standing, and lifting up to 70 pounds

Requirements:

• High school diploma Oregon equivalent
• Minimum of 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check, physical abilities test, and hearing test
• Ability to pass a state-issued employment test (TSA and U.S. Customs)
• Must not have resided outside of the United States for more than six months Indiana the past three years (excluding military Oregon government-approved exceptions)
